Fire detection systems
Fire detection systems detect any phenomena typical of the onset of a fire (smoke, flame, heat) through specific sensors that, via the control panel, activate the warning systems. The reliability and effectiveness of these systems depend on a risk-based design and proper maintenance, performed in accordance with technical standards.
The regulation governing the design and installation of fire detection systems is UNI 79795:2021, which requires the application of rigorous standards to guarantee the safety of the installed system.
Fire detection systems are not to be considered simple technologies to install, but rather complex systems made up of multiple elements that must interact synergistically with each other. For this reason it is essential to always rely on a certified professional, who is able to implement the system in compliance with the standards.
System maintenance is regulated by UNI 11224:2019, which introduced the “seniority criterion.” Systems are divided into three bands based on their years of operation, requiring specific maintenance activities for each.
EVAC and fire detection systems
EVAC (Emergency Voice and Communication) consists of emergency voice alarm audio systems, primarily intended to disseminate information for the protection of human lives, inside and outside buildings, during an emergency.
To transmit alerts, it is possible to connect the fire detection systems with the EVAC system, using hands-free or pre-recorded messages.
CUBE Fire
CUBE Fire is a software that allows the management of fire detection system maintenance according to the specific rules dictated by the UNI 11224 standard. Thanks to this system it is possible to ensure a correct maintenance and efficiency of systems in accordance with the standards, having the documentation related to the interventions available at any time.
The Customer will be able to implement CUBE Fire into their PSIM system through the maps plug-in, supervising their fire detection systems.
The software can be accessed through an authentication system conveniently on CUBE Fire via a web browser, with the possibility of consulting, verifying and downloading the documentation at any time.
